What Euro 2024 games are today? Wednesday features final day of group stage

The final day of group stage matches at UEFA Euro 2024 will fill out the Round of 16 bracket, with Groups E and F closing out the opening stage of the tournament.
The advancing scenarios in Group E are complicated by the fact that for the first time in European Championship history, all four teams — Belgium, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine — are level on three points after two games. All of them can finish in any position and each team can progress or be eliminated. This should make for a wild noon ET time slot.
In Group F, Portugal already has secured the top place in the group and a Round of 16 match on July 1 in Frankfurt, Germany, against a third-place team yet to be determined.
These are the Round of 16 scenarios for the other teams in Group F:
➤ Turkey just cannot lose to Czechia in order to finish as group runner-up.
➤ Czechia can finish second and qualify for the Round of 16 with a win over Turkey. A draw also might be enough to move on.
➤ Georgia can progress as Group F runner-up with a win over Portugal and a Czechia win over Turkey — given Georgia also can attain a goal differential advantage. Georgia is eliminated with a loss or draw, and if Turkey does not defeat Czechia.

It also hosted 2023-24 UEFA Champions League games for Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk, which was unable to play games in its regular home stadium due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Volksparkstadion has enjoyed regular use in major soccer tournaments held in Germany. It hosted three games during the 1974 World Cup, the semifinal of UEFA Euro 1988 and five games for the 2006 World Cup. This is the fourth of five Euro 2024 matches — including a quarterfinal — being held at Volksparkstadion.
